Shibuya-ku

Shibuya-ku ist einer der 23 Bezirke im Osten von Tokyo. Hier finden sich die Einkaufsstraße Center-gai, als auch das Zentrum des Nachtlebens auf dem Dōgenzaka – ein Hügel mit viele Diskotheken und Love Hotel. Auch zahlreiche Technikfirmen sind hier angesiedelt. Am bekanntesten dürfte Shibuya-ku für zwei Dinge sein: Die Statur des Hundes Hachikō, ein beliebter Treffpunkt, als auch für die Kreuzung an der Westseite des Bahnhofs.  Hier befindet sich eine Alle-Gehen-Kreuzung. Laut Wikipedia wird die Kreuzung  in den Abendstunden pro Ampelphase von bis zu 15.000 Menschen überquert. Shibuya-ku is one of the 23 municipals in the east of Tokyo. Here you can find the shopping mile Center-gai and the center of nightlife on the Dōgenzaka – a hill with discotheques and Love Hotels.
